So I read this email and think to myself “Should I buy a lottery ticket?” Heck yes I should! What could it hurt? I spend a couple dollars and it could change my life… highly unlikely but yes I could get lucky and hit the jackpot. After I thought about winning the lottery, I immediately thought “What would I really do if I won the lottery?” I honestly would not go crazy with it. Yes I would buy a house but it would not be anything outrageous. I would buy my mom and dad new vehicles. I would want to take my sisters shopping for a few new clothes. ReplyDeleteI'd give to the humanitarian fund, pay off debt, buy a simple family home (and some real furniture to go with it), go back to school, get the kids some winter clothes (and Jonny), get my mom and brother that eye surgery they haven't been able to afford, buy the family tickets to Arkansas, throw a big slumber party with all the little cousins, and have the chance to buy Christmas for a family in need, as well as for my kids...that would just be awesome. Other then that...Oh, I'll add a haircut, candy apple, and a date with my husband to that list too. Yup, other then that, the rest would go into a savings for a Disney vacation, kids college and weddings.
I agree with you, I wouldn't live off the money. I t eventually runs out, and then what?
I would definitely plan a trip to Utah to see you guys! I might even buy you plane tickets to come see me :) I want to take the kids to Disney World and also to meet Taylor Swift. Jadyn would absolutely be in heaven if she could meet all the princesses and Taylor Swift! I would give a good chunk of the money probably to the Children's Hospital. I love your ideas!
